What are the 3-classes of boiler engineers?

The lowest / initial class of boiler engineers is third (3^rd) and the Second-Class boiler engineer is a middle stage whereas the first class is the upper most stage.

What education and experience is required for a candidate to apply for 3rd class boiler engineer competency certificate?

Matric with 4 years’ experience on the operation of boiler, or

Diploma of Associate Engineer in Mechanical / Power / Marine Technology with two years’ experience on the operation of boiler, or

Two years ATC / TTC Certificate in related technology with three years’ experience on the operation of boiler, or

Middle / Secondary School Certificate with six years’ experience on the operation of boiler

Age limit: Persons below 21-years of age will not be admitted to the examination.

Board of Examination(For Boiler Engineers) has been successfully taking examination of boiler engineers since 1926. It is very joyous and delightful occasion to launch official website of the Board to facilitate the people and for quick delivery. In order to make examination system more transparent, efficient and credible, the Board has taken numerous measures in line with the practices of other technical Boards and institutions. These steps

include revamping of syllabus according to the varying current needs, outsourcing of paper setting & checking process, conducting written examinations at Examination at Punjab University Examinatin Certre etc. The Board is fully committed to its mission of providing competent boiler engineers through transparent assessment services
